NEMI offers the following capacity-building training programmes and courses.

Foundation Training for Cross-Cultural Ministry (FTCM)

Duration: 1 year

The FTCM is designed to equip those called to missionary service for effective cross-cultural mission engagement. It is a one-year certificate course that runs from January to December annually. It is enriched with relevant mission courses, skills acquisition and field work. Admission for the January 2022 class is already on-going and interested candidates can apply now.

Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies (BAIS)

Duration: 1 year

The Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies (BAIS) Programme consists of six modules spread across three years of focused learning on cross-cultural mission. Each year comprises two modules in the months of May – June and October – November, and each module consists of eight weeks of engaging with different aspects of the mission of God. The BAIS is designed for people who devote 100 percent of their time and energy to Christian service such as Pastors, Evangelists, Missionaries, Mission Pastors, Bible Translators, Mission Trainers, etc.

En Route

Ten weeks certificate course designed to provide participants with a concise, intensive, and practical mission exposure for ministry fruitfulness. Participants should expect to get concise teachings on the Cross-Centred Life, God’s Big Story, Foundations of Christian Doctrines, History of Missions, Overview of the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement Course, Culture and World Religions, Understanding your Call and Strategies of Church Planting across Cultures, etc. The training includes assignments, group discussions, case studies, learning visits, etc.

Working Your Way to the Nations

Duration: 1 year

Next Class starts: January 21, 2022

This is a 12-weekend online training programme designed for persons who desire to use their professional skills, businesses, trade, etc., in ministry either at home or abroad. All believers in Christ are in this category. Admission for the May 2021 intake is already on-going. Interested candidates can apply now.
